Private Garden Cornwall

We were involved in this project following grant of planning consent to develop an overall strategy and garden design detailing for a replacement dwelling on a sloping plot. The house is rectilinear in form and the garden concept was to break this geometry by introducing angular forms which played with the topography and directed views towards the sea and coastline.

The levels were complex, and we developed a series of upper split-level terraces with an infinity pool and an outdoor kitchen which is accessed by generous angular steps down to the road and garage. An inclusive access gradient ramp winds through the garden as an alternative means of approach to the house.
As keen gardeners, the client wished to plant the garden themselves and we handed-over to them upon completion of the hard landscape elements.
